Very few Indian Chess coaches in FIDE Chess Trainer and Chess Instructor list?

Criteria for Participants/Qualification:
FIDE Chess Instructor :
* Proof of national trainer education and recommendation for participation
by the national federation
* Proof of at least 2 years activity as a chess trainer
* A minimum FIDE chess rating of 1800
FIDE Chess Trainer :
* Proof of national chess trainer education and recommendation for participation
by the national federation
* Proof of at least 5 years activity as a chess trainer
* A minimum FIDE chess rating of 2300 over a period of time
The FIDE Instructor course takes up 35 hours; the FIDE Trainer course 40 hours.
Course was conducted in the English language and a lesson hour equals 45
minutes.
Trainer Certificate / Diploma:
After successful graduation from the educational course, each participant will
receive a certificate as FIDE Instructor/FIDE Trainer, and after that, the
official diploma from the FIDE if the following conditions and special FIDE fee
are fulfilled:
Cost of the program:
The costs for travel will be borne by the sending federation, club or
participant.
The cost of the course FIDE Instructor/FIDE Trainer is 700 Euro and includes 250
Euro for organization, hotel accommodation (single room, breakfast and lunch) as
well as all refreshments and snacks throughout the course, free access to
Internet; 450 Euro fee for course, handouts, examination.
Although the cost sounds little high especially after converting it into Indian
currency but still this course is very useful and worth doing especially for
those who want to make their career in chess coaching. They will get the
opportunity to earn in dollars also FIDE certificate could really help, "certified chess
trainer/instructor" would definitely attract chess students. So there are many
long term advantages of doing this course.
This course would certainly help chess coaches, I hope chess coaches from India
would attend this course in 2007. The purpose of writing this article is to
introduce chess coaches to FIDE's chess training program and to encourage them to
participate in FIDE's training sessions.
The FIDE Trainer Academy in Berlin is organizing the
next Course for trainers and instructors from
5-11 October 2007 in English language.
